7 years ago, a few Irish dancers met at BC orientation and found friendship through Irish dance. They loved dance and wanted to continue that love in college, and so Boston College Irish Dance was born.
Today, we are an established club at BC, perfoming across campus in various charity events, cultural ceilis, and dance showcases. We hold our own, 2 hour showcase every March to celebrate St. Patrick's Day and compete in the campus wide "Showdown" between dance groups every April. BCID welcomes anyone interested in Irish dance, no matter what skill level you are.
Even though we've grown from our roots, we are founded on the love of dance and continue to showcase that in our performances. Go BCID!
